Hi Erica-
Hope you are well! A friend sent me the news of these guy’s (and girl) opening up at the old Urban Gardener’s site… I Googled and found your link!! Can’t wait to stop by and check things out as it’s near my house.
As you’ve probably heard, we are liquidating at S&H… sadly. Scotts decided we were losing too much money. Jeff Bakehorn has taken a position with them and has moved to Columbus, OH. I suspect he’ll have something to do with how the brand will continue. We should wrap everything up around mid-November.
Again, hope you and the family are well. How old is Georgia now? Hope we have the chance to stay in-touch. You’ve always been one of my favorite garden “celebs!”
Thanks for all you’ve done for us, and with us at Smith & Hawken-
Jeff Jones
Jeff,
What are you up to? Sorry to hear about Smith and Hawken.
hope you are well. Life is busy but good.
Erica
When did this notification on Smith and Hawken occur? What does Jeff Jones do for the company and What did Jeff Bakehorn do for Scot’s? Is it just usual that employess are picked up and moved so frequently? Would be interested on any informatin regarding Smith and Hawken and Scots. Is your Garden store also available for catalog use and such.
Jeff via a third party.
Jeff, Judy Kamp here. I wondered what happened to everyone from S&H. Could you tell me how to get in touch with Jeff Bakehorn. Thanks to whomever can put me in touch with at least one of the Jeff’s.
